Stories are important! The Bible is the story of God. Really, all of history is the story that God is writing. In each of our lives, God is writing a story. It’s important that we are able to see that and articulate that.

Take a moment to read Acts 22:1-21 and Acts 26:1-29. Both of these passages record Paul’s "God story". Our "God story" is the story of what our life was 1) Like before we came to faith in Jesus, 2) How we came to faith in Jesus and 3) How our life has changed since coming to faith in Jesus. What is your God story?

If someone was to ask you, "What is the Gospel?" How would you answer that question? *

If God were to ask you the question, "Why should I let you into heaven?" what would you say? *

Do you feel called to share your testimony for 2-3 minutes? *

A testimony includes: 1) Your life before salvation. 2) The "moment / season" when your salvation took place [See Romans 10:9]. And 3) Your life after salvation.

We want to encourage sharing your testimony wholeheartedly, but understand that there could be specific circumstances that inhibit you from sharing publicly. We encourage this because: 1) It's your opportunity to "share the Gospel through your story"! 2) It lifts up the people in the crowd to hear your story and possibly get saved, be baptized themselves, or just be encouraged.

We also know that there's not a place in the Bible that requires anyone getting baptized to share their story. So the act of obedience is amazing in and of itself.
